Visorando is recommended for use on a PC as it will give access free of charge to 1:25,000 Ordnance Survey maps which are ideal for walking (though you would have to take out a subscription to use these maps on a phone).
• In your web-browser on your PC go to Visorando™.
• On the menu line you see signup. Click on this and follow the steps to set up an account. There is no charge for setting up an account or using the website.
• When you use the site next time you will just need to login.
• To view a Ku3a walk track, download it here Click for Archive and save on to your computer as described on the previous page.
• In the Visorando website, click Tools and select Import a GPX file.
• Next click on Choose File and navigate to wherever you have stored the gpx file and select the required file.
• Click Upload and the walk will appear displayed on an Ordnance survey map. As you zoom in and out it will switch from the 1:50,000 map to the 1:25,000 map.
• If you want to alter the walk, there is a good video here on how to do this on YouTube.
• From here you can save the walk so it will be available later and print or save a pdf of the walk.
