We enjoy reading a wide variety of poetry in good company. Members volunteer to compile selections of poems by particular poets or subjects, or we all bring along a couple of poems on a given topic. We also have an anthology (The Zoo of the New - Nick Laird - Penguin) for occasional use. Members then take turns in reading a poem aloud, and we all discuss the material, and life in general, over tea and biscuits. We all use email to help with meeting arrangements and distribution of materials.
