We are a friendly group who have an interest in learning the various techniques of patchwork and quilting.
We have welcomed back our teacher, Heather Howard and who has been extremely patient with us over the last year as we have developed our patchwork quilting skills. She is also happy to answer any questions we might have about projects we are making at home or give advice about new projects.
Every other month we have a project and the next month is a catch up month when we bring unfinished projects or ask for advice from the teacher and the members of the group. We have been very busy learning new patchwork skills and creating quilting blocks, gifts and sewing accessories. We have all contributed to make quilts for local charities. We are now expanding our knowledge and hoping to make a Chenille bag soon. We love our new room at the Reform Church as it is light and airy. We are starting to look at new Christmas projects, including a Christmas Placemat.
