Sunnycroft
200 Holyhead Road, Wellington, Telford, Shropshire, TF1 2DR (Sat Nav TF1 2DP)

“Shrewsbury and Sunnycroft looked at their best on the sunny much warmer day we had.
It was so nice to have Sunnycroft to ourselves and be able to open cupboards, particularly the old medicine one, and pick things up. The staff had put out some extra pieces of needlework for us. The last owner of the house had worked on the Queen’s wedding dress. We were able to sit under the Verandah or in the lovely old conservatory with coffee and sunshine.
Shrewsbury
I know some people had not been to Shrewsbury before and it was much admired. It is a splendid mix of Tudor and Georgian buildings along narrow streets with strange names. The riverside and large park was another popular destination, and of course the local independent shops.
Due to problems on the M6 we took the “scenic” route home.” – Jenny Fisher
