This group was relaunched in February 2023 with a mix of previous and new members. We are group of people who enjoy the opportunity to meet up and have a couple of hours discussing aspects of photography, sharing photos and generally seeking to share and improve our photography skills. There are refreshments available mid-session. We have varying levels of experience, from beginner to having had a camera for years. Whilst we all have digital cameras, they vary widely in type. There is certainly no need for anyone to have ‘expensive’ equipment, and some of us just use our phones!

Our sessions have involved looking at a particular aspect of photography (ie. a subject theme) working out how to use our cameras and share/discuss our photos. We have also arranged roughly bi-monthly trips to locations where we can practise the techniques we have been learning about.
