Mahjong is a game of Chinese origin, played with tiles engraved with symbols and characters, that are divided into Suits and Honours. The game is similar to Rummy and the goal is to obtain sets of tiles and a pair of like tiles to win. Or a set of Special Hands of infinite variety and scoring potential. It can be played by 2, 3, or 4 people.
No previous knowledge or playing set is required as we can teach you the rudiments of the game, both playing and scoring. We are a friendly group and new members are always welcome to join us.
